MCCA Raises Funds for New Shelter

The Countering Domestic Violence Program of Mid Central Community Action is raising funds for New Shelter!

It is our goal to break the cycle of domestic violence. Our first priority is to make sure that all the survivors of domestic violence are safe. We are known for our 24-hour domestic violence hotline and our 24-hour emergency shelter called The Neville House. But it can’t stop there. We are an agency of action. We offer criminal justice and legal advocacy, Domestic Violence education, counseling, training, medical advocacy, outreach intervention, support groups, and simulations of all types for adults and children. Our work is, unfortunately, never done.

An important key to helping those in need is offering them a safe place to lay their head at night. We provide life skills, employment assistance, housing advocacy, and so much more to ensure a sustainable and successful future. We can’t replace everything that was taken from a victim of abuse; however, we can help survivors heal by wrapping them up with support and empowering them with the tools they need to succeed.
